Crafting Connections – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain how we do business. They apply whenever you use our website or buy something from us — whether online or in person. Please read them carefully before ordering.
By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be shown here, with the “last updated” date above. Orders placed before changes take effect will still follow the previous version.
2. Using Our Website
- You must be at least 18 years old (or supervised by a parent/guardian) to place orders.
- Please ensure any information you provide to us is accurate and up to date.
- You must not use our website for illegal or harmful purposes.
- We do our best to keep everything accurate, but we can’t guarantee that all product descriptions, colours, or prices are error-free. If an error occurs, we’ll correct it as soon as possible and let you know.
3. Orders and Contract Formation
When you place an order, you’re making an offer to buy the goods under these Terms.
We’ll email you an order confirmation to acknowledge receipt — but this doesn’t mean your order is accepted yet.
A binding contract is only formed when:
- We dispatch your goods, or
- We send written confirmation that your order has been accepted.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order before dispatch, for example if:
- The product is out of stock,
- There’s a pricing or description error, or
- Payment can’t be authorised.
If this happens, you’ll receive a full refund.
4. Prices and Payment
- All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- Delivery charges are shown separately during checkout.
- We accept major debit/credit cards and other secure payment methods displayed at checkout.
- Payment is taken at the time of order.
- If a pricing error occurs, we are not obliged to fulfil an order at the incorrect price.
5. Delivery and Risk
- We currently deliver within the UK (please contact us for overseas enquiries).
- Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to postal delays or factors outside our control.
- Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you upon delivery.
- Ownership of goods passes to you only once full payment has been received.
- If you refuse delivery or fail to collect a parcel, we may charge return shipping costs.
6. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
We want you to be happy with your order. Cooling-off Period (Online Orders)
If you buy online as a consumer, you have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your goods.
To do this, email us at hello@crafting-connections.co.uk with your order details before the 14-day period ends.
You must return the goods within 30 days, unused and in their original packaging, at your own cost (unless the item is faulty or misdescribed). Once we receive them in saleable condition, we’ll issue a full refund (including standard delivery charges).
Extended 30-Day Return Policy
In addition to your legal rights, we offer a 30-day goodwill returns period for most products.
You can return items within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or refund, provided they are:
- Unused and in original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Please note:

- We can’t accept returns for cut-to-length fabrics, ribbons, or personalised/custom items unless faulty.
- Return shipping is your responsibility unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong product.
- Refunds will be made to your original payment method once we’ve received and checked the return.
Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.
We’ll arrange a replacement or refund and cover any return postage costs.
7. Digital Downloads (if applicable)
For downloadable items (such as craft patterns or digital guides):
- Once you start the download, you waive your 14-day cancellation right.
- If a digital file is faulty or fails to download properly, please contact us for a replacement or refund.
8. Intellectual Property
All images, text, graphics, and designs on this website belong to Crafting Connections or our licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse any part of our content without written permission.
If you post reviews, photos, or other content on our site or social media, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use and share it for marketing and promotional purposes.
9. Liability
- We are responsible for supplying goods that meet your consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit or opportunity.
- Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the goods in question.
10. Events Beyond Our Control (Force Majeure)
We’re not responsible for delays or failure to deliver caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g. postal strikes, weather, or supplier issues). We’ll always try to keep you informed if this happens.
11. Links to Other Sites
Our website may include links to other sites we don’t control. We’re not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or actions.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be handled by the courts of England and Wales.

13. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights as a consumer under UK law.
